What is an RSS Feed?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.
It's the best way to receive updated content from a website. Once you subscribe, you'll automatically receive the information you've selected, on your desktop, ready to read whenever you want it.
What goes in the RSS feed?
An RSS feed contains a list of items, a short description and a link to the full article or blog post.
If you'd like to stay up to date with our interesting blog posts and articles, subscribe to the feeds!
How do you read RSS feeds?
To receive an RSS feed, you need a newsreader. They are really easy to use! You can sign up to access free readers through Google, Yahoo and other popular search engines. There are also downloadable newsreaders you can install on your desktop. Some, like Pluck, are free. Others, like NewsGator, have a cost attached.
Newsreaders offer a variety of special features, including combining several related feeds into a single view, hiding items that the viewer has already seen, and categorizing feeds and items. Get to know one today!
